To R.O. Hurst on His Retirement as Dean, Ontario College of Pharmacy.

A unique snapshot of  a moment in time  in the  world of Ontario Pharmacy. The  scrapbook

contains  an original photograph of the Dean  taken and signed by Cleeve Horn R.C.A. OSA,

 centre above, and a photograph of the 1913/14  class,  top right.  There are  a number of

 newspaper clippings dating back to the 1920s, congratulatory telegrams  and signed letters from various provincial professional bodies. However one of the most interesting features is   a very large number of prescription  forms   bearing good wishes from  what must be most  if  not  all  the Pharmacists of that time in Ontario. At once a personal and  a Canadian  archive.

‘The paper  used  on which to fix the  many items  is very fragile, not being acid free.’
