Telegraph Station

 

Superb Telegraph Station  with brass plaque reading ‘T Brittan, I No.19. 1906 ‘.

 Consists of  galvanometer, relay, key and other instruments  some  individually

dated 1906. Mounted on a 15 inch square mahogany plinth . Bears the double

arrow indicating  release from government service. Probably military. Galvanometer

housing has some areas of loss of  enamel but otherwise  everything is crisp

and clean with all original lacquer

 

The nicest we have seen.
