1910 Model of Great Lakes Three Masted Grain Schooner

 

Sails, masts and rigging restored.  Hull, deck and fittings original.  Length - 36”, Beam 6¾”. 

Height on its stand -28”.  Placed, but not secured, on the deck are models of the deck cargo with which

sailing vessels were forced to overload the vessel to  compete with the faster and more reliable steam freighters.   Originally built in Ontario and restored by one of Ontario’s top model ship builders. 

 

This is an historic expression of Canada’s heritage.
