Small Oak Pocket Case of Five Scalpels. British Government Marks.

 Early 20th Century

 

Case signed Arnold and broad arrow. Four of the scalpels (one is a bistoury) also have the broad arrow. Scalpels signed by various makers including Arnold and Maw.

The differing makers are probably a result of a government purchasing policy.
