Uncommon  Oak Apothecary Counter Preparation Cabinet c.1910 with Contents

 

This fine oak cabinet came from an old drugstore and was in use for a great part of the 20th century. The measurements are Height 18” Length 25” Depth 13 1/2”

The top is inset with two marble preparation areas,

There are two drawers, each with a lock, 

and a full length lower compartment with a hinge down drawer as shown.

The contents include scales, brass mortar and pestle, various measures and

 preparations as shown.

This a substantially made cabinet. The drawer fronts for example are 7/8” thick.

There is a crack in corner of one of the preparation tiles but otherwise in nice clean condition.
